Every year we hold an AGM for our Members, we're by law required to and we take that responsibility seriously.

Since 2017 when we held our first AGM at the Holiday Inn in Gatwick to last years event with almost 300 members in attendance in the historic town of Warwick.  Attended by the MHRA and FSA it was a great day with some great information and networking opportunities.

Traditionally we've also held an event in the October too.

This has always been at the National Conference Centre opposite the NEC.

In 2017 it was a small affair, just over 120 delegates, with talks and information from the CTPA, Jelf Insurance and others.

In 2018 we added a small trade show.  Just over 400 attendees came along to a small but perfectly formed show with 24 exhibitors, 12 workshops and a number of speakers including Professor Mike Barnes.

This year we have decided that because of the sheer number of events now in the UK for the industry, we are going to run a single event over 2 days.

So the Convention is born!

This year we once again take over the National Conference Centre for 2 days of presentations, trade shows and networking on the 9th and 10th of June.

The 9th of June is the public day, when we will hold a trade show, networking events and conferences with speakers again including Professor Mike Barnes, Robert Jappie from Mackrell Turner Garrett, Jeff Ditchfield, Dr Dani Gordon, Dr Colin Morgan and others.

We have around 60 stands available to both Members and Non Members and we look forward to seeing you there.

There are 200 public places available for members of the public to come along and see how we do things "CTA Style".   As ever there will be politicians, reporters, civil servants and many others among the attendees.  We draw a crowd as diverse as they come.

Buy a public ticket and learn more about the event by clicking here.

Our AGM on the 10th of June this year is as ever a Members Only event.  Last year we had presentations from the MHRA and FSA  as well as many others, but this is our members chance to interact with us and tell us what they want to see the CTA achieve in the coming year. This year we have Dr Chris Jones again from the MHRA and Amanda Isom from the CTPA as well as a compliance workshop to present TrustCanna to the membership.

As ever we will present our financial information, our current position in the industry on many things and of course our plans for the coming years.

Our Members of course can get their tickets here and will need the code they have been emailed, if you need a new code to access the site, please email Cefyn!
