A cross-party group that’s been months in the making. Lead by the secretariat, Tenacious Carbon and Nick Morland, and the meeting was chaired by Bayo Alaba MP.

The APPG is focused on breaking down the policy and regulatory barriers that have stalled progress for industrial hemp in the UK. From POCA reform to access to carbon credits, this is about building serious political will for change.

One of the highlights of the evening was General Sir Nick Parker, fresh from Capitol Hill, who spoke powerfully about the potential of the global veteran community to support, stabilise, and scale the hemp sector — from employment and investment to lobbying and peacebuilding.

If you’re working in industrial hemp, construction, rural development, SAF, or biomaterials, this is the conversation to be part of. And this was just the beginning.
