Paul Maclean, a graduate of the University of Nice Sophia Antipolis with a Master’s degree in Law, has been immersed in the CBD industry since 2021. He started his journey as an in-house legal counsel for a prominent cannabis company, where he handled risk management and ensured product compliance.
His passion for the sector led him to volunteer with the Union des Professionnels du Cannabis Bien-Être et Détente (UPCBD) in early 2022, rising to a board member position by September. In July 2023, he was entrusted with the role of President following the former leader’s decision not to seek another term.
With a focus on advocacy and innovation, Paul is at the forefront of initiatives aimed at ensuring the sector’s long-term viability and fostering its expansion across Europe.
